We work in home kitchens, rented halls, loft spaces, backyard tent structures — wherever you're gathering your people. And because our menus follow the season, what ends up on the table always feels current and considered, not reheated from a static catering file.
Occasions We've Made Memorable
Over the past several years we've catered milestone birthdays from 25 to 90, anniversary dinners where the guest list was nine people and the expectation was Michelin-level attentiveness, holiday feasts where four generations sat at one table, and baby showers where the host wanted beautiful food without lifting a finger on the day. Each of these events had different food, different tones, and different guest dynamics — and that's precisely what we plan for. Whether you're in a Glenora heritage home, a Terwillegar cul-de-sac, or a rented space in Inglewood, we bring everything — equipment, linens, and seasonal flowers if you'd like them.
I booked Sparklriver for my mother's 70th birthday dinner — 18 guests at my home in Westmount. The team arrived at noon, had everything ready by six, and were invisible during the actual dinner in the best possible way. The mushroom and truffle risotto was the highlight of the evening.
